Adventures in Bunting

I made some summer time bunting to pass a sunny afternoon.
These cardboard 'bunts' (I've decided this is the technical term for the triangley bits) came from a magazine, but they would be so easy to make again.

I trapped the triangles between a piece of folded over ribbon and sewed down the whole thing.

It feels a bit naughty sewing over anything which isn't fabric, paper in particular.
I have no idea why, but I find it very satisfying!

The bunting went up in the garden
and has now found its way into the kitchen to avoid the inevitable English rain.

  1. I like the idea of garden bunting! The kitchen is definitely the safest option at the moment though!

  7. Hi Clare ! Love the bunting! Hope you have a wonderful time in France :)
In response to your question - I just emailed them. I did have to email them in April 2009 for work experience in July 2010 and I know some of my uni friends have asked and apparently there booked up till 2012 but email and ask! Let me know what they say if you do :) xox
